This is an invitation to anyone whose life has been bumpy, and whose faith has sometimes hurt them more than it helped. You are welcome here.

About Me

Hi! I’m Kelly and I’m just a 29-year-old trying to figure this thing called life out. My journey has been interesting, it has been bumpy, it has been privileged, and it has been full of learning. I know that I grow most when surrounded by people, in community, who are open, honest and authentic about their lives (what is working and what is not). Building a sense of community is central to who I am. Community has carried me through my darkest times. In this moment, post-pandemic, I think we need community more than ever. My life has been made better by friends, mentors and teachers who have given me gifts of healing - whether this be through wisdom, faith, spirituality, body work, food, laughter, etc. I want this space to be a little corner of the internet where we can share and be cared for by other people who are trying to figure this thing out.

My personal journey has included wrestling with issues of justice, equity, social change, religion/faith/spirituality, education, health and wellness, etc. I have a love of learning and that has carried me through many times of confusion, frustration and questioning. My curiosity and relentless pursuit of growth has served me well.

This is the journey of rebuilding a life and a faith that works for me. To be more full, to be more present, to be more me. To heal from the things that have gotten in my way. Welcome to this community. A place where you are safe and held and free to be yourself.
